Early Submission Deadline:
July 15th
Submit your application and all supporting documentation by July 15th to be considered for our first round of admission decisions, which will be communicated by August 1st.
We will continue to review and accept applicants on a rolling basis after the early admissions deadline while spots are still available or until the program start date.

Statement of Purpose
The Statement of Purpose should express your short term goals for the MFA program, as well as your long-term career objectives. Your program representative will provide you with a fillable document to complete this essay, with guided questions included.

Three pieces of original music (no more than three minutes each)
Provide three pieces of original music. It is strongly suggested that at least one of the submitted works either be music written to picture (in this case, bounce your music to video) or reflect one of our three provided story briefs. Any instrumentation and any style or genre is acceptable as long as it supports the story idea.
At least one piece of music must be accompanied by a matching and properly notated score.

Two Letters of Recommendation
Provide two academic or professional letters of recommendation.

Transcript
If you are a transfer or graduate student, we will request transcripts on your behalf from the colleges and universities that you have attended. You may provide an unofficial transcript, pending the completion of your undergraduate degree.
