Submit your application and all supporting documentation by September 10th to be considered for our next round of admission decisions, which will be communicated by September 18th.
Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis upon receipt of complete materials, until spots fill or the program starts.

Statement of Purpose
The Statement of Purpose should express your short term goals for the MFA program, as well as your long-term career objectives. Your program representative will provide you with a fillable document to complete this essay, with guided questions included.

Three pieces of original music (1:30-4:00 minutes each)
Provide three pieces of original music. It is strongly suggested that at least one of the submitted works either be music written to picture (in this case, bounce your music to video) or reflect one of our three provided story briefs. Any instrumentation and any style or genre is acceptable as long as it supports the story idea.
At least one piece of music must be accompanied by a matching and properly notated score.

Two Letters of Recommendation
Provide two academic or professional letters of recommendation.

Transcript
If you are a transfer or graduate student, we will request transcripts on your behalf from the colleges and universities that you have attended. You may provide an unofficial transcript, pending the completion of your undergraduate degree.
